Unofficial Cornerstone Guide #2
Thursday, May 28, 2009 at 3:34PM How to Add Staff Members to Cornerstone
Like all fields, veterinary medicine has a certain degree of employee turnover. As current staff members leave the practice, it is necessary to hire new ones to replace them. For these new hires to be able to use Cornerstone they must first be entered into the Cornerstone system. This allows their information, such as contact info, to be accessible, as well as allowing their names to be attached to Cornerstone records; this is especially necessary for new veterinarians in regards to medical records, surgery records, examinations, etc. A corollary to this is the need to set access permissions in Cornerstone so the new hires are only capable of viewing, entering, and altering the areas of Cornerstone that you decide are appropriate - See the pute!
